I am also interested in Functional Medicine and/or Positive Psychology. How do the services work together, and do I need to schedule separate appointments?
As part of our integrative concept, our Chiropractic services are offered with a Functional Medicine approach and elements from Positive Psychology. For example, in order to correct chronic inflammation, we will search for the cause and not only address biomechanical components but also potential chemical and emotional stressors.
If we determine that you could benefit from sessions focused on Functional Medicine and/or Positive Psychology, we will discuss implementing these into your care plan.

Is Chiropractic safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care actually has a significantly lower injury rate than general primary care. This is because we use non-invasive techniques adapted to each individual. Interesting fact: Dr. Jessica’s youngest patient was less than an hour old (you guessed it, she was in the delivery room) and her “most mature” (wink-wink) patient, 96 years old. We rule out any contra-indications or red flags during your initial visit to make sure you are a candidate for Chiropractic. We then offer the most effective Chiropractic services for you while minimizing any discomfort during the treatment and/or subsequent risks.

How much should I expect to pay for my Chiropractic care?
While your initial visit will typically be $269, regular follow-up appointments will vary between $68 and $110. Our office uses a Flat Fee Schedule which makes it conducive to providing the services that you need for a fraction of the price. For our detailed fee list, please consult our Fee Schedule page.

Do you accept insurance?
In rare cases. Our office focuses on wellness care, which is typically not covered by insurance plans. In order to offer you the care we know you can benefit from (and not just what insurance will cover), we created our Flat Fee Schedule and offer convenient payment options including accepting HSA/FSA cards and Care Credit.
If you are consulting for a specific acute injury, your care may be partially reimbursed. Unfortunately, our office cannot guarantee to what extent, as it is a decision coming from your insurance plan, not the doctor. Depending on your unique situation, we may be able to bill your insurance for you or provide you with a Superbill, allowing you to seek potential reimbursement on your own.
If insurance reimbursement is critical in selecting a Chiropractic office, consider consulting our Referrals page for the contact information of trusted providers who may be in your network.

How often should I get adjusted? I have heard that once you start going to a chiropractor, you need to go forever. Is that true?
We love to see you, but we also know it is good news when you are not coming as often! Very acute conditions are often treated 2-3x/week in the very beginning, while wellness and preventive care are typically 1-2x/month. Having said this, you certainly don’t have to come forever. Some of our patients elect to come and resolve their concerns and come back as needed thereafter. However, monthly visits are a very good investment of your time/money to help you continue to feel amazing and catch any imbalances before they become problems. We recommend, you decide.
